About Us

The Malaysian Students Association of La Trobe University (Bundoora) is a club specifically for the Malaysian students (undergraduate and postgraduate alike) at the university to join and connect with other Malaysians.

MSA hopes to provide the simple service of community by bringing Malaysians at La Trobe together to meet up and get to know each other. We organize fun events throughout the year to keep the La Trobe Malaysians in touch, and we also participate in other events held by Malaysian organizations in Australia. MSA publishes a monthly newsletter for its members via email, and has set up this blog to let us better communicate with Malaysians not only from La Trobe but from all over Australia.

So if you’re a Malaysian student currently studying at LTU (be it Bundoora or any of its many campuses) or a Malaysian considering pursuing an education at our fine university, then bookmark this page and sign up for our mailing list to keep yourself informed about the events happening in and around La Trobe and Victoria. Just email ltumsa@gmail.com.

Also, a note to members both past and present : think of this blog as a forum to not only connect to other Malaysians but to showcase to the Internet (and the world) how talented and bright La Trobe Malaysians are. So if you’ve got anything to share – announcements, pictures, stories, articles, etc – don’t hesitate to send them over to be put up on this blog. Email is the same as above.
MSA is affiliated to LaTrobe’s Students Representative Council who oversee all the clubs and societies on campus. We are also under the general umbrella of Malaysian students organizations, headed by the Malaysian Students Council of Australia (MASCA).
